Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with 1–3 years of accounting experience, looking for an exciting next step in an international environment? We are currently looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Accountant for our partner, a rapidly growing, global leader in the media and advertising technology sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, international team on a 1-year fixed-term contract with a flexible hybrid working setup in Budapest.

• Managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, including the accurate coding, processing, and cost analysis of supplier invoices

• Preparing, executing, and reconciling supplier payments according to the company’s payment schedules

• Performing regular and precise bank account reconciliations and maintaining creditor ledgers

• Acting as the main point of contact for supplier inquiries, proactively resolving discrepancies, and tracking missing or overdue invoices

• Checking and processing employee expense reports as well as corporate credit card transactions

• Actively participating in month-end and year-end financial closing activities and reporting

• Assisting the finance team with internal and external audit requests

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders

• 2–3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or vendor accounting

• Minimum secondary school education / high school diploma

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work well in an international team setting

• Advantages:
  • A College or University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) or multinational matrix setup
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP B1 or Oracle NetSuite preferred)
  • Knowledge of an additional European language (French, German, or Italian)
