Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Our partner is a global leader in engineering, mobility technology, and software development, with a stable and continuously growing presence in Hungary since 2002. They are currently expanding their newly established Shared Service Center in Érd and are looking for a dedicated Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their collaborative, 8-person AP team. This position is a 6-month fixed-term assignment (with the possibility of extension) aimed at supporting temporary capacity growth within the department. • Manage end-to-end AP processes for high-volume and complex accounts.

• Process vendor invoices (PO/non-PO), perform 2-way and 3-way matching accurately in SAP.

• Prepare and execute payment runs, handle urgent requests, and resolve escalated vendor disputes.

• Lead AP activities during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing (accruals, reconciliations, AP aging reports).

• Provide accurate input for Vendor Master Data maintenance ensuring strong compliance and control.

• Mentor and provide daily support to junior team members, reviewing their entries and proposals.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are up to date.

• 3-5 years of solid experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a manufacturing SSC environment.

• Strong ERP expertise, specifically SAP is a must.

• Fluency in English (C1 level); German language knowledge is an advantage.

• Proactive, autonomous, and agile personality with a strong "can-do" attitude (ready to jump into the deep end with minimal training time).

• Stable career background with a process-optimization mindset.

• Availability to start as soon as possible.
